"Not the needle, nor the thread, the lost decree. Saying nothing, that's enough for me." Tonight, my bed shall be reserved for my dad's guitar. I've been playing stars in still water by jonsi. It's kind of funny how I ended up playing i just by looking at tabs. Didn't know I can read tabs, really. So I don't know where all the music came. Maybe my skill in oido is not just for piano. Good job for me then. I'll play the song to my Okim after I've polished everything. He needs to de-stress a bit more and I know my music relaxes him to the point sleeping. Lulz lulz.
So summer has officially kicked in for me. I'm not complaining if I can't do anything productive...YET. I'm still making up for lost time, like sleeping, pointless internet-surfing, making music, and eating a bunch of good home-cooked food, or at least food that is readily accessible in my house. The thing about being in the dorm for the last 5 months is that I barely ate any decent food. The tapsi place was just a few meters away from my dorm and everything they have to offer are either supersaturated in oil or are SUBMERGED in oil. I feel stupid every time I eat there. I study how oil can kill me yet I allow it every single day. And I eat a friggin tapsilog floating in scrumptious fat. Dafuq's happening with me?
I'm thinking about signing myself up for dorm again but I have to consider that it's pretty expensive. I actually hated the though of going back to a place I unconsciously consider as hell hole. Why?
I still cannot deny the fact that having a dorm was pretty convenient for me especially for the long-ass breaks whenever prof's would cut (hehe) or whenever UST has unnecessary activities again (which I'm not really fond of attending, btw). I find the time useful in between classes because I can just walk straight to the dorm and snooze for a while, that is if I don't have any tests to study for. Also, I don't have to commute! That was the deal-breaker for me, considering how hard it was to commute when the rain is drizzling. However I easily get excited over the thought that I get to the dorm 6:15-ish pm everyday compared to the usual 8pm way back when I was still commuting going home from school, so I took advantage of it by chilling until 8 and then proceeding to work. I'm pretty stupid at times.
So my quest to find a decent dorm, one which will admit me for half a schoolyear only, continues.
