So how do I begin this. It's the final week for me until summer vacation and I meet again. It's really getting stupid, I can't finish anything productive anymore. I'm so preoccupied burning-in my new headphones (my first one, that is) by downloading songs and listening over and over to my old, rustic ipod. I need 200 hours until my headphones can properly sound prestige. I've been listening over and over to Ascension (Maxwell) Jask Soul remix over and over and over and over again. It's the best the thing that ever happened to minimal/soulful house. Like Kopiko Brown being the best thing that ever happened to coffee.
Meet my new pair of Senn's <3 the HD448. My parents will kill me by April 9 since I used my card to pay for it in a three-month plan so you could just imagine how friggin expensive this was. But I can't help it. It's something I've been eye-ing on and wanting for so long that I don't have enough courage to get for myself. If my dad gets mad at me, then it will be "BUT PA, I CAN'T BUY THOSE CRAPPY SKULLCANDIES/HED KANDI/COLORFUL HEAPDHONES. IT WILL BE SUCH AN INSULT TO MY LIST OF GOOD MUSIC" for me. I bet he'll understand. He's such a hi-fi person himself.
So far so good. I love how clear the mid's sound. I'm not much of a bass-y person so I don't mind the subtle bass you get. It's so comfortable too, considering I have small ears. Lulz. My main gripe though is that it lacks a bit more timbre, as in I can't really distinguish in between tracks. I was hoping I could get more riffs for my house music. But it's ayt. It's not really intended for house music but it works just as fine as with any other genre. Need to burn-in more though. And after this week, I might consider getting an amp for home listening.
For the meantime, I shall isolate myself out from the pollution I get from listening to myself saying rubbish food chem terms.
