So I just finished reading V for Vendetta and Watchmen in on week. Watchmen was pretty awesome. I don't know why it took me that long to finally get it. I liked the fact that watchmen the film stayed true to the comics. V for Vendetta is different as the film adaptation looked as if it was a stand-alone movie. If I were to choose, the film was good on its own but the graphic novel itself is hands-down better and there were so much more in it that were not depicted in the film.

Now I'm about to read another graphic novel which is not another superhero plot. I was pretty hyped up after knowing that fully booked has a stock of the jimmy corrigan: smartest kid on earth. They really have a good selection of books compared to other book stores. And the price wasn't too bad either. Now my only problem is how do I start reading this oddly sized thick book because I read numerous horror stories how the book binding of the trade paperback copy is just crappy. Every page falls off upon turning them. But meh meh meh... I don't want to spend extra on a HC so I guess I'll just have my special glue with me as I read.
