life of a food science student Tuesday, December 7, 2010 @ 9:38 PM
I think I'm going to burn to death for missing today's school rosary activity. As much as I want to spend the day acting as a "bead" in the rosary, I opted to just stay here at Krispy Kreme to avail of their free wifi (and delicious coffee). I need internet badly and our DSL's so f'ed up for the last five days already, when all of my professors coincidentally had the urge to give us online homeworks and exams. I wanted to stay in my school for a while, but something tells me that I should just leave, especially in times like this when classes are suspended for the rest of the afternoon. There's just been too much going on. It's been almost a month already and my body has not yet adjusted to my schedule for this semester. Classes start at seven o'clock in the morning and end six o'clock in the afternoon and I only get to have an hour and half's worth of break time. It is really tiring to commute everyday PAST 5:00 pm. All that is available is taking the jeepney ride home and everyone knows that I cannot takes jeepney rides because I have allergic rhinitis, that each speck of dust, fragrance, smoke, every bits of pollution I inhale is a lethal bullet for my nose. And I wake up with no sense of smell, thus I cannot properly speak and taste my food for the next 24 to 48 hours. With that being said, I arrive home at around eight o'clock in the evening and I still have loads of chores to do which includes washing my lunch pack-wares, water bottle, washing my lab gown, washing the dishes, and looking after my little nephew who can get quite a handful. In lieu to that, our house helper instantly vanished for the reason that her boyfriend was cheating on her with another girl from their province. This cycle of waking up early and sleeping late without even having to study yet is really making me a bit fatigued. I cannot even express my creativity anymore because of school. It's always the priority in everything and I'm afraid it's also the reason of my slow deterioration. ![]() I drink coffee ![]() I blow my nose ![]() And I look at my self, seeing someone who badly needs a break from the rehab Labels: school |
