It usually takes 2 days before my paypal withdrawal shows up in my bank account. Being the nth time I would be doing that, I assumed that my money would be ready to be withdrawn via ATM by thursday, so I decided to treat Okim to this Sakae Sushi place at SM north edsa annex. Yesterday (thursday) morning, I logged on to check my bank account and to my surprise, my money wasn't there yet. I panicked of course but me, being the hopeful that I am, still insisted on going out. I was persistently waiting for the money to reflect on my bank account, and yes, I brought my laptop along with me.

While we let time pass, we decided to watch Paranormal Activity 2. The movie finished in about an hour and a half so then we both thought that we've let enough time to pass to log again in my bank account. So I did, but still there was nothing. I was mad and frustrated because this instance never really happened with my previous withdrawals. It was supposed to be there in my bank account by morning and it was already 6 o'clock in the afternoon. So I called unionbank and they said that they were frustrated as well with what happened so they said that they would file a report and asked if I could just call them back after two banking days. I asked "Would there be no chance to get my money by today?" and the customer rep said with eagerness, "NO."

So it was kind of a bummer. They must know better, right? I told Okim to just wait until two banking days and then we could eat at Sakae Sushi. I apologized to him because I know that he was so excited to eat at the new sushi place and so was I, but we have got no enough money. I was embarrassed. But him, being the person he is to me, decided that we just eat at some place where his money would still be enough to feed the both of us.

We ate at Tokyo Tokyo instead. It was kind of funny because we were computing for our orders already, making sure that out orders won't reach past 400 pesos because that is what we have. Before we ordered, I still checked my online bank account for the last time, just to make sure. But again, there was nothing. So we just ate and we both became full. We asked for the bill. For some reason, it took too long for them to process our bill and we have got nothing better to do so we opened my laptop and decided to surf the internet for whatever. I logged on to my online bank account, and to our dissappointement, my money is already reflected in my bank account, right after we ate so much.

We were both pissed, but we still ended up laughing. I just decided to treat him to his favorite coffee and then told him that our Sakae Sushi will be moved this saturday.
