Being a "regular" college student, my allowance is pretty much enough to get me through the day. I use it both for commuting to and from school and for paying little food or drinks that I buy on some occasions. Producing music is not that enough of a work for me. The pay is very unpredictable as to having a considerably new business running. I was too ambitious, thinking that I could use my skill to pay for my own tuition fee. But it cannot be because...
...I am the opposite of being thrifty when it comes to my...skin. GO FIGURE. ugh.
Well moving on, I am quite close to bankruptcy as I might put my beat store in hiatus for the mean time. I am too busy with school (which is basically dealing with chemistry) that I have no more time alloted for work. I was just recycling beats week after week that people just seem to get tired of hearing the same piece, thus my beat sales going down by the month. Since May, I only made 2 beats. If that cycle will continue, I cannot afford to pay my monthly dues anymore that's why I think I would stop selling beats for the mean time until I regain the confidence to open it again.
I received another business email for the nth time. I think I just waste my time replying to each of them. Talk about bang in the buck. I have no luck in that. But if I did, then it might have saved me.
Opportunities really do come and go. Despite the downfall I am terribly experiencing right now, I am grateful to those who listen to and appreciate my music. They all still remain anonymous to me, but I know that my beats are in the good hands of talented people.
To all those 38 people who have come to support my works since February, thank you very much. It was definitely a pleasure working with and FOR all of you.
