No, he will never chase you Tuesday, July 6, 2010 @ 5:59 AM
Feelings have their own developmental capacity too. But with unknown reason it would not develop, then it would be a state of dormancy, that you just never know when it would die or come back to life again.
Because all she ever wanted was to love deeply, and be loved immensely. It was quite ironic on how she always pictured that day when she'd bump into him again. She longed for it every single day. In her head she spoke of amusing lines that she knows he could never resist, minus the golden locket she threw away because she had her memory to keep, one that can still recall minute details, exactly the way they were. But as she hopes for her delusion to come alive, her hopes slowly disseminate nowhere.

One day, that day when all her thoughts about love sank to a deep hole, she was walking with her head down, staring at her feet so badly bruised from her all-matured shoe yet managed to carry that big ol' bow on top of her head. She was gravely thinking about ways to combat another hour of sole-pain. Or probably more.

It was probably cliche or maybe just meant to happen that for one second there when she was walking, her head unconsciously tilted to the left and that moment there, a once a little boy was looking at her with uncertainty, that maybe this girl was not the girl he knew before. But he knew how she was, and she still is that same girl whom he, all his life, wished that would just leave him alone. But something in his head makes him want to come near her, after all the years of pushing her away from him. And he did.

And she was there, smiling as her heart was pounding. She knows that he was drawing his way near her. For all those agonizing years she spent wanting him to want her, she intently stood at where she was and the moment he was an inch close to her already, she started walking. He was following her, walking along her side. And for a moment there, she realized she was happy. But then a car passed. And he bid goodbye, as if he didn't even care. That seeing someone after so long didn't make sense.

Yet she still stood there but this time, she didn't look back.
